Hi, has anyone used a careers coach they would recommend? DH works in a creative industry on a contract basis but work is drying up and he’s contemplating switching careers to something more sustainable and reliable as we have kids. The creative industry he works in is very niche so he’s worried he doesn’t have any transferable skills, and is feeling a bit lost in where to start with a career change.
we could probably afford for him to start in a new career at the bottom of the ladder (maybe an adult apprenticeship or similar). But he’s having difficulty working through what his skills, interests and goals are and what kind of other careers could suit him.
I think a careers coach could be a good investment because I think he would benefit from having someone to support him with working this out.
any recommendations would be appreciated
