Moving During Mat Leave?

Hi all! My DH and I are going to be TTC soon and hoping to move when our contract ends - my question is if I move while on mat leave, do I have to tell my job? If I do, can I hand in my notice while on mat leave and still get the basic mat pay (that's all I'm entitled to anyway at my work).

Yes, you can hand in your notice on mat leave, but you won't get paid past your end date. It would make more sense to wait until mat pay stops.

If you get enhanced mat pay in any way, just check whether you'd need to repay any of it if you don't return to work.
