Teacher and mum … dreading the juggle

Does anyone have any advice please. I’m a toddler mum and a teacher. It’s so hard and I never have a moment to relax. Workload huge and also trying to be a great mum also. Thank you in advance. I do all the usual stuff like freezer meals cooked in advance and stuff like that.

My husband helps out a lot and probably does more than his fair share during term time.
I don't have any advice as I want to leave teaching for this very reason!
Are you full time? I dropped down to 80% so I can at least have a day off with my toddler, just us two. But workload is still high!

I hear you.

I try and get all my work done at school. Anything that can't be done, doesn't get done. I reuse and tweak planning as much as possible as this is the only thing I do at home in evenings now.

We have recently got a cleaner. It's been life changing and I highly recommend it if you can afford it. I would forego quite a lot of things before losing my cleaner.

Try and delegate as much as possible. Mark live during lessons and give verbal feedback (more effective anyway) and be realistic about what you can achieve.
