Twice now I’ve requested holiday the correct way which is via line manager initially. Nobody is off on the days I’ve requested but she’s said that she’ll have to see if she needs it off first before she’ll approve it.
The first time she never came back to me and when I said to manager above she said this absolutely was not fair and she approved it.
Anyway it’s happened again, I’ve requested a day off next February to go alongside a day already authorised and she’s again said that she might need it off so she’ll have to see. The thing is she now just won’t come back to me and even if I ask again to chase it up she just won’t have looked.
Advise pls, she’s a tricky person to deal with but I’m not in the wrong am I?
