Sorry for the long winded post.pleasw can anyone advise? šŸ™
I currently left my trust for another and I hate where I have moved to!😢
I’m still in my probation period so I believe I only have to give a weeks notice.
I’ve contacted my old employer and he is going to try and get my old job back as the poiagion has not yet been filled.
Can he just reinstate my old contact etc as I only left over a week ago ? Many thanks in advance x

I don't think they can make promises. It would probably depend on if your previous post has now been advertised for filling or how much sway your previous manager has with the powers that be. That would just be my previous experience with the NHS.

Good luck OP.

We had someone leave and come back... then had to go through the full interview process.
So it's not impossible, but be prepared to explain yourself for leaving.

This. If the HR process for recruiting to your old position has started in my experience it is very difficult to stop. What would probably happen where I am is that the post would go out to advert and you would be able to apply for it, along with everyone else.
