PDR

My PDR meeting took place at the end of May, the meeting went well and my line manager thanked me for having done a good job.

I completed all my sections of the PDR form ahead of my meeting and we talked through this at the meeting. I sent the form to my line manager, for him to complete his sections before we submit it to HR.

The PDR window runs February to May. Despite me chasing up my line manager for the form with his completed sections so that I have the final version of my agreed objectives to work on, he has still not sent it to me.

Should I be worried. I wondering why he would be stalling completing it as the longer he delays this, the less time I have to work on the objectives before the next PDR cycle.

The organisation is large and going through restructure, it also has financial challenges and is seeking applications for VSS (voluntary severance scheme) to reduce its staff numbers.

Should I be worried?. Could the delay be a sign that they may be considering making me redundant or is it more likely that they are planning changing my role.

Have you asked him.
Is he just not answering chaser emails or ask him in yiur one to one.

I sent my 1st chaser email approx 6 weeks ago. Then I asked him in my 121 at the start of last week, he chuckled and made out that he thought it was still with me, but having checked he could see it's with him and he got some more to add to it.

I chased by email again yesterday, but so far ignored. I've received comments from the senior staff that I'm doing an amazing job infront of him and by email too. But I know there's a big restructure going to happen, which is making me more anxious.

I don't feel I can chase him again now.

I'd send him another email confirming what he saud and the objectives agreed and ask him to complete his section as a matter of urgency so you can start working on objectives and recording of same. If no answer in a week, go over his head
