Interview for job not fully experienced for

I've gotten a 2nd stage interview for a job prob 2 levels higher then my current job (work in finance) 1st interview with 2 ppl went well as I got a 2nd interview which will now be with a 3rd person too. Defo think I can do the role but want to talk about the gaps in my knowledge in a positive way and not seem completely clueless. It's also a face to face interview,not had one of those for 5 years...

All you can do is be honest, say that you are a quick learner and how to plan to address knowledge gaps. Don’t lie! Good luck!

@Swollenandgrouchy I was going to do research on areas I don't know and say I haven't directly worked on this area but would approach it in this was etc??? Does that sound OK? As I'm getting older I've started to get more nervous, I was fine before, used to waltz into interviews...

I was always told if you got to interview they think you're capable of the job. You wouldn't have got this far if you weren't experienced enough, you've passed sift and a first interview. It's there for the taking, give yourself a pep talk and go get it!

@plhkldsytrd thank you that's a good way to think of it and you are defo right!! It's only and hr and at the very least might get a cup of tea and meet someone new, thank you for taking the time to message me, not sure why but hearing something from strangers seems to make it more true!!!!
