Hi,
I just wondered if anyone knew the answer to this question.
i have a UK limited company and the tax is extortionate. Is there any country that I can move to where I wouldn’t have to pay UK tax if I was a non UK residence?
Thanks!

Wherever you decide to go, stay there. And don't come back to the UK. Can't stand tax dodgers. What do you think pays for the public services you use?

Sure, move somewhere like Dubai maybe?

Gosh.

Does none of your business model rely on there being a reasonably healthy population/workforce/customer base? Does none of your existence benefit from people being educated, from there being law and order? From there being roads and electricity pylons etc?

If you move to a low tax regieme like Dubai you'll find the cost of living balances out because you have to pay so much more in fees and insurance to make up the gaps from all the things you need to buy in extra because they aren't provided by the state.

Or you could read up on "enlightened self-interest" to understand why intelligent people work out that it's better to be part of a community where these expenses are pooled and bought centrally via taxes rather thar paid for piecemeal by individuals. Of course there's waste and inefficiency in any system but there's even more when a profit-making business needs its slice.

Couldn't have put it better myself

You must be making some great profits for the tax to be so high. Congratulations! You could engage a tax consultant to advise you on tax efficiencies. Their fee will be tax deductible.

A friend of mine has a Polish company abd an English company ... they are thinking of moving everything in the business to Poland (not them or their home) due to changes in corporation tax/research and development offset.

The government need to ensure it's attractive for business to thrive in the UK rather than inhibit it.
