Took the plunge applied for Probation Services Officer role

Can anyone tell me what it is like? What are the hours like?

I am not sure if i have the right experience but I currently work in a low secure mental health unit. What were others work experience like?

It’s a great role. I think you will be fine. Make sure you observe as many appointments with practitioners as you can. It’s a band 3 and you can qualifications so you progress further.

Where I work - sometimes PSOs seem a bit lost initially as they’re figuring it out themselves, but always reach out to case administrators, other PSOs and probation officers and you will be fine 🙂
