Hi everyone. Has anyone joined or know information on personal travel agent with Hays . It’s an academy we’re you can work from home selling holidays on a commission only basic . You put in £8000 to join and that gives you access to there systems. I know that it will be hard work and you only get what you put in . It’s a big investment so just like more into . Any info will be a massive help.

That sounds immensely dodgy. You could easily get a WFH customer service job with an airline or travel agency that actually pays you a wage. There is no legit job where you have to pay to access client databases? Please don't give them any money.

Yeah sounds like a MLM wrapped up as a franchise.

Ask around friends and family - when was the last time any of them actually used a travel agent rather than booking online themselves?

It’s a quick way to lose 8k.

Eight fucking grand?

My SIL did this in 2019. She was doing really well until covid hit. Not only did she lose the business, she also had to pay back thousands of pounds back in commission for cancelled holidays
