Paid the wrong hourly rate NHS

hello! I work in NHS and has been agreed that I will be paid as top band 5 when I started this new job. I already been working in NHS since 2016. However my hourly rate was now down to bottom band 5 when I received my 1st payslip of this new job! Please I need advise on what to do.. TIA

It is sadly common to have mistakes with payroll, especially with a new job. You need to check your contract if you have one yet, or make sure you have something in writing confirming your pay and then copy this to payroll.
