Hi I started a job on the 15th payroll cut off was the 18th and pay day is the 24th of this month. I didn’t get paid and need to now wait until end of august for payment can I ask payroll for an advance or is that not common practice I have 3 children and will really struggle to get back and forward to work as well as bills if I need to wait as it’s a 5 week month next month also. Could someone advise it’s the NHS.
