First time writing here and would like some advice.
My husband is ready to make a career change to have a better work life balance as now we have a toddler and would like to have another child soon.
He’s been working in hospitality in a fancy Michelin starred restaurant for the last 10y, worked his way up with good salary but the hours are extremely long and he’s exhausted. He had finally enough of this job. He’s in his early 30s and unfortunately he has no idea what he would like to do next. He can’t imagine himself doing anything else other than working in hospitality or something related to hospitality. I don’t want him to work in hospitality anymore unless the hours are more bearable - daytime not late nights.
Obviously he has plenty of transferable skills but I find it difficult to help him when he has no idea of his next step.
Maybe I find someone here who could advise of areas, jobs to look into where career changers from hospitality could apply their skills? Or someone who left hospitality and is now doing something else? Thank you all
