Remote working

Seriously do decent remote working jobs actually exist?? I was in full time employment but had to give it up due to childcare issues. Trying to find a remote job so I can work and also be at home with my dd but I literally can't find a single thing! I applied for jobs in the local schools where I would be off the same times as my daughter etc but no success 🙃

How old is your dd? Most remote roles would expect dc to be in childcare. Mine are 12-16 and I wfh 2-3 days and dh wfh full time. Civil servants across a large area so going to an office would still mean sitting on teams.

Most jobs are hybrid now, so some days in the workplace and some wfh days. However, most employers will not allow to look after your child at the same time as wfh.
