So, I took on a new job a few months back which in terms of title was a huge promotion.

It's not working out how I thought in terms of not being what's advertised on the job description, health and safety, general workers rights.

I have the option at a job with a higher pay but a lower job title.

So I'm conflicted in terms of how it will look on my CV to go from this role to another. My hopes were to have this for a few years and move to a similar role but higher paying.

WWYD, or do you have any experience with job roles on CVs?

What's more important? More money or a 'better title'. My opinion is we work to live we don't live to work.. take the higher paying job. A title doesn't pay the bills or mean that it will imporve your chance of gettinf a better job. Apologies if this comes across blunt but just my take on it!

Thank you and blunt is good!

It's not for social standing or anything the better title, just I figured it would be better on my CV and lead to better job prospects.

To put it simply, it would be going from a Manager role to a Supervisor role.
