Just wondered if anyone had any information about the TA?
I'm newly set up and self-employed. I don't have a teaching qualification but do have experience of coaching and assistance with degree level students.
I'd be looking to provide dissertation support and guidance. Would expect student's supervisor to have input on significant matters. My participation/tutoring would come in with the structure/layout, composition, wording, referencing, etc.
I can't seem to see much information on the Tutors Assoc which explains exactly what they do and what the benefits are, unless I go the route of joining it.
(Although I could be missing something. Right now having a stressful time with family matters and not quite 100% on the ball)
