Job Re-Evaluation Pay Banding

Hi all, has anyone successfully had their job reevaluated at their own request and moved up a pay band as a result?

Feeling very apprehensive about even looking into it.

Within my organisation if a job is rebanded up, it’s the advertised and you apply through “fair and open competition”.

There should be a policy document setting out the process.
