I’m not happy in my current NHS role and I’m considering leaving with nothing lined up. I can afford to do this for a few months while I look for another role within the NHS.
I know that accrued leave carries over regardless of the length of break in service.
I need someone to spell it out in plain English the other things I need to think about if I have a break of more than a week.
Maternity is irrelevant as I won’t be having any kids, but I need to know about sickness, redundancy and anything else I haven’t thought about.
I’ve read the policies but I’m still non the wiser with all the jargon used.
