I am about to start job-hunting after being a SAHM and I’m wondering what the best websites these days are for uploading CV’s to for recruiters to view?
About ten years ago I had my CV on Reed but most calls I got were for jobs that were irrelevant to what I was looking for, or were in locations that weren’t suitable (I know recruiters were just trying their luck), but I wonder if some websites are better than others for putting your CV on. Indeed seems to be popular? I get job alerts from them.
Our town only has Adecco left as since Covid all the independents one have closed down. I’m not sure about LinkedIn as it seems to be more for career-orientated people whereas I’ve never had a proper career. I will be looking for office work, particularly the charity sector (already get job alerts) if possible, as I have discovered I love this sector after starting volunteering in it a few years ago.
