Interview... I always crumble

I've been in the same job for 16 years so not bad an interview for that long. Last time my manager gave feedback and said she could tell I was very nervous but believed I could do the job, and said I did prove her right. But how do I get over the nerves.

I really really want this job, it's a big progression but I know I can do it I just find it hard to sell myself and stay calm - my mind goes blank. Any advice

Prepare, prepare- and practice a few deep breaths before hand.
drop the job description into chatgpt to generate sample questions and answers.
Prepare answers in the STAR framework. Practice with a friend.
Nerves are expected! Good luck
