Agency reducing hourly pay

Can they do this ?
It may just be an error on the booking form but my hourly rate is showing up as 50P less for next week.
There is nothing in the contract about this and I have not verbally agreed to anything. I did post on aibu but Friday night is busy and the post has sunk.
Thanks in advance.

Have you raised it with them? Do you have proof of what your agreed hourly rate should be?

It may be an error. You need to check with them.

Firstly- what did they say when you asked them?

What sector are you in? Many years I had this, but it wasn't the agency but a government cut on agency earnings. A much larger drop than 50p though. Were you working in a different location? Could it be due to London weighting and working in an outer London area?
