Hellooo
hoping someone might be able to give me a bit of advice!
i have an interview tomorrow for a healthcare assistant role in a school nursing team. I’m actually a registered nurse working in the community caring for adults but I’m hoping to move over to children and also downgrade my position to HCA.
I’ve been going over prep I can think would be mentioned. Safeguarding, going over the vaccinations children have as I know I would be part of the team providing those to children in school. Not concerned about clinical questions like that as I have administered many many injections over the years all sorts.
I’m wondering if anyone has any examples of tips for questions specifically related to children.
I’m used to supporting families in many ways, especially as I provide a lot of palliative care at the minute.
It’s just got to the day before and the nerves are kicking in!!
so desperate for this job so ya know. Sure everyone waiting for an interview has felt the same level of apprehension, think it’s just as I’m concerned as I’m a registered Adult Nurse and maybe there’s something I won’t be thinking about as it’s in the chlldren’s branch of nursing!!
anyone’s thoughts or tips would be so appreciated 😊
