I applied for a new job, and accepted. Before doing so I checked my online employee portal that has all my employmemt details to see what my notice period is. This advised 1 month
I handed in my notice, stating my intention to work 1 months notice and was advised that my contract states 3 months. I sent a screen shot of the portal and said I agreed a start date with the new employeer of just over 1 month going off the information in their employee portal. I admit I didn't check my contract as it was on the portal so I didn't question it
I have a meeting tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has any advice on whether I need to work 3months and risk my new job.
Based in Northern Ireland- just in case that makes a difference
