Tiredness - due to boredom?

I work four days a week, but sometimes it’s very full on and other times I don’t really have much to do.
I’m really not enjoying my job, its an odd mixture of triggering (sexual abuse) and mind numbingly dull.
I’m going to apply for some new jobs that have come up, but I’m worried that I don’t have the energy for a full on job. I feel tired every day.
I am in my late 40’s.
or is the boredom contributing to the tiredness and I’ll feel re-energised with a new job?
anyone had a similar experience?

I think I can relate too. I’ve recently been diagnosed with ADHD and I just hate my job even though I have it good!

I work in mental health and have for 9 years but I am sooooo bored now and it just doesn’t help my adhd symptoms at all!

Fingers crossed you find something more interesting and part time so you can get some good work life balance.

Thank you @Roui , I’m in mental health too! I’m just hoping the tiredness would pass if I had a new project?

@Twoshoesnewshoes It could be mental health then haha!
I just find people want a magic therapy/pill solution and don’t get they have to put the work in to make changes to better their mental health, so I get frustrated and bored of the same old thing!

I am lucky I can work from home most of the time and only work 3 days a week. I think I would be gone if that wasn’t the case!
