I accepted a job recently with the loveliest team in podiatry. I can’t wait to get stuck in so I’m wanting this all to get sorted asap. But I unfortunately left my old job due to stress at work and anxiety brought on by my last role. I’m still struggling but doing random shifts here and there across the trust. I have two references and one is a peer review and the other my last line manager. I’m very scared it’s going to jeapordise my new career .

Congrats on your new job.
I'm sure you'll be fine
They like you
You got the job.

What PP said. Plus, unless you were dismissed for a serious reason that involved safeguarding or similar your old employer would be stupid to give anything but a standard reference.

Aww you guys are lovely. My last line manager was a clever and caniving individual. Does the referee form ask for any remarks as I’m scared she will give a bullying attitude. I was bullied heavily, let me be honest there.
