Change of terms - financially worse off

Looking for advice on presenting my side of this to my employer… when I started my role I was head office based and could claim travel costs to various locations… I now visit the same location about once a week if not more. My employer has advised me that they intend to change my place of work to here AND Head office so I can no longer claim to travel there. Presently I claim about £100 for one return journey per week - 4 per month. I expressed that I didn’t feel this was financially viable and they have offered to increase my salary by about half of this amount per month… still meaning I am financially worse off… any advice welcomed! Thank you.
