I am just looking at details of a job in an FE college (am currently teacher in school) and the job description says that I would get 50 days leave a year but what does this mean in practice ?
Does it mean that I would be off for the 'normal' holidays (ie 2 weeks Christmas, 2 weeks Easter, 6 weeks summer = 50) or would there be some scope to take time off during term time, like in a normal job? Anyone have experience?
