I am burnt out from being overworked but I have bills to pay as I have a mortgage on a house I got signed off for 4 weeks but not enough

If you reached burnout and you had bills to pay and had to keep working because of that how did you deal with it

Are you the sole wage earner in your house? What’s the sick pay like in your job - can you be signed off for longer?

Yes I am sole wage earner I am single too so no one to help in that way

I read and they do pay full sick pay but it's reviewed every few months I think

If the burnout is due to work then something will need to change long term. Stay off sick in short-term but you either need to tackle the cause in your workplace or find another job, otherwise you risk recovering, going back work and ending up ill again
