help; just booked in DS3's first nursery visit next week (sob)

OK I've got ages to settle him in but he's just (8 months) hitting separation anxiety and even screams if his dad goes to him in the night instead of me...

And because of all his nursing strikes, we've abandoned his dummy and he will only be rocked to sleep...

Oh god, I'm not sure who will cope the worst next week, me or him.

I was blubbing in the bleeding nursery manager's office just arranging it: they all laughed at me, in the kindest possible way of course.

You'd think it would get better on number 3, no?

I have just taken DS (11 mo) for his first settling in session, I was really stressed about it but as soon as we got in there he was off. Barely looked at me, there were too many new toys and new babies to play with.

You'll both be fine
