Ive been at my place of work for 2 years part time and have recently been moved to full time. Since I moved to FT, I’ve found my job role has changed slightly, although still doing some of the tasks I did last year, there is many more hours allocated to admin. I enjoy the job because of the active/traveling part, and I just grin and bear the admin. My job has every right to reallocate my hours, but they’ve also then put an additional number of training hours in for the additional admin tasks I will be doing (more meetings and less of the stuff I enjoy).
We were in the middle of relocating for this job and suddenly I’ve got huge red flags about moving for a job I don’t think I will enjoy anymore. Anyone any suggestions?
I can’t negotiate what I work on, it’s not a job I can do that in. My job is also in a competitive field so I feel lucky to have it but I’ve trained hard to get here, to do something I enjoy (which I don’t think I will anymore).
