Maternity allowances

Hi I was just wondering if anybody had put a claim in for maternity allowance recently and what the processing time was atm?

I just recently applied and mine took 3 weeks exactly from sending the application to getting a text message to say how much I had been awarded. I got my first payment last Friday so 4 weeks from the date of first applying. I thought I was going to wait a lot longer with what I had heard from other people. So hopefully yours is the same 🙂

I've still not heard back from them yet, I chased it up last week to be told I should hear something back this week. When did you receive the txt message confirming, was it in the am? I was just wondering as if I've not heard anything by tomorrow I may call them up again.
