Easy but interesting jobs

So out of sheer curiosity really. We were having a discussion at work (teaching) and a colleague said you can have an easy but boring job or an interesting but stressful job but you can't have both.

I have one friend who is a carer for an older man, no mobility or health issues except dementia which is still early stage. She spends her life going out and about with him, chatting to him and helping him do his hobbies...this seems to fit the criteria.

Does anybody else have, or know of any jobs at are easy yet still interesting?

It depends on the person doesn't it? I'd find looking after someone with dementia all day neither easy nor interesting.

I find my own job easy and interesting but I know it would be a nightmare to a lot of people as there is a lot of admin and desk research involved.

That's a fair point though, she loves her job as she genuinely likes the person and finds him easy to care for as he isn't very high needs.

However, I didn't mean to suggest that being a carer in general is easy and the interesting part varies I suppose.

TBH I'd forgotten about this thread till you replied and the lack of responses does seem to suggest that having both easy and interesting is rare 😆😆

Haha, yes I guess it is rare. And my job isn't always easy, I guess I find it relatively easy on the whole as I find it interesting and like who I work for. I work as an Executive Assistant but it has a large element of research (which I enjoy) in it, so not just diary, expenses etc.

If anyone has one, they are not saying because everyone will want it! I want, well paid, interesting, easy and part time any ideas?
