How do you hear back about a civil service interview?

Is it phone, email or no hard and fast rule?

Do you mean to ask if they will use the reserve list?? They can't do that if it is a different grade I'm 99% certain. I'm not sure whether reserve lists are used cross Department either - I've never heard of that happening but I'm not an expert.

Sorry pietut I misread an earlier post about emailing the recruiting officer if a similar post came up in the same department.

This guidance suggests that reserve lists can be used across departments, although it might have been updated and I assume that the recruiting department would have to want to/agree to do this.

So I'll wait for the feedback from my recent interview and then apply to this post.
