LinkedIn gap!

Hello, I’ve recently left my job. I wasn’t treated well towards the end and we came to an agreement as I had a very valid grievance. However, my colleagues don’t know the details and I can’t disclose them.

I’ve signed a new contract today but due to the stress from the last few months I’ve decided to start in a couple of months so I’m currently showing on LinkedIn as not being employed.

Ex-colleagues have likely been told that I have left now and have started looking at my page and I suspect my narcissistic ex manager is also anonymously checking out my page. For my own credibility (but also an admittedly petty desire to irritate my awful ex manager) I’m looking for what I can put to explain the gap. “Between positions”??

Firstly you have a new job so ignore them. If you really want to put something put short sabbatical or travelling or charity work or whatever you think fits. No employer is going to worry about such a short gap. Enjoy the new job.
