No qualifications, but probably helps to have experience and/or some sort of insurance because of the risks involved.

We looked into this.
No qualification but will need insurance.
A DBS check also helpful.
Canine first aid training helpful too.

Well you need insurance. You don’t necessarily need qualifications but having dogs isn’t the same as walking other people’s dogs. You also say you need extra income, do you already work and if so, when are you planning on dog walking? Most people will need a dog Walker during the day, probably around lunch. Our dog walker closed her business because she saw business drop after covid and the introduction of hybrid. We’d already reduced the hours we needed her but if she hadn’t closed her business, we probably would have stopped using her because it’s an easy expense to cut at the minute.

Thanks to the people that replied. Well I work part time and love my job and don't wanna leave but they can't give me the hours I need. And I love dogs so thought it would be good to do a job with animals and get paid also
