What are qualifications and skills?
PIP assessors pay well dnd many are remote but you need to be a health professional

JuiceBoxJuggler · 16/05/2024 14:46

We need to know what your qualifications are and what you are good at...

When you say a "mum" job - are you wanting one to fit around caring for a small child?

newjobdilemma · 16/05/2024 15:40

What on earth is a "mum job"

What on earth is a "mum job"

boarding school?

only way I can think to parent remotely.

AlohaRose · 16/05/2024 15:50

What counts as "decent" money? What are your qualifications and previous experience - no point in someone pointing you to remote marketing/design jobs if your previous work is all in insurance claims for instance! Also I'm not sure what you mean by mum job? Most remote jobs require you to have childcare in place just as if you were working in an office.

crumbpet · 16/05/2024 15:52

Don't look for a "mum job" (wtaf). Look for a job in the area you have experience in. What did you do before you stopped working? Get on linked in/the job websites.

Have you considered applying to Parish Coumcil Clerk roles? Most often part-time, work is virtually entirely remote (unless you work for a larger PC which may require a morning a week in their office to meet members of the public, and their are qualifications you can undertake to progress up the payscale. I currently wowk 25 hours a week for a larger PC, entirely remote and with the flexibility to work my hours when it suits me, around nursery and school pick up times, occasional evenings etc. The only commitment is monthly availability to attend an evening meeting once a month.

Mullercornerbliss · 16/05/2024 16:23

What is a mum job?!???

literarybitery · 16/05/2024 16:26

The public sector has embraced WFH more than private. Many jobs entirely WFH except occasional meetings.

What is your experience? Skills? Qualifications?

Entry level work is rarely remote so building on prior experience is usually better
