Realised this week I am 40 and still have 28 years left to work

Feel like I need a change but problem is £ can't earn any less than I am now £32k.

Hit me with your ideas please what could I do instead. 🤔

What are your skills and what do you like?

What do you do now?

Sorry thought I'd put that u currently work in Finance.

I like helping people and like analysing things looking for errors making sure things add up but I'm drained by the people and politics.

The people and politics is what pisses me off at work. I think it's the same everywhere though. It has been everywhere me and my husband have worked and I've worked in lots of different sectors.

Im not sure a change in the type of work you do would get you away from people and politics but potentially a change in company might help? I usually find it takes awhile to get fully sucked into the politics etc in a new role

That said if you are interested in change, and you like analysis then potentially a data analyst type role?
