Any nurses who work in a nursing home?

Hi,
is there anyone who works in a nursing home- what is the role for Nurses? The advert is quite vague so just want to hear people’s experiences please

Hi lavender,

As a nurse who used to work in a nursing home, apart from doing the medication administration and simple wound dressings, your duties might also include assisting the residents with their adls (activities of daily living, ie, helping out with their showers, making beds, also helping out with food and fluids intake, maybe even supporting them with their physio excercises & assisting them to mobilize as well around the care home.
