New job questions

Hi all

I'm due to start a new job on 28th May.

The job will be hybrid for a little while but they have not specified what days will be office or home days, is it wrong to ask? The first week is fully office, i'm guessing to get used to the systems etc I don't want to seem pushy but also need to know for school runs etc.

I've emailed to ask about the first day and equipment. Waiting on a reply.
There are no stupid questions when you're new. Please ask

Don’t say it’s for school run but just say due to family logistics could you confirm which days you will be required fi be in the office? Most reasonable employers will expect people to have a range of commitments outside work could be pets/kids/elderly parents etc.
