i went for a HEO role, there was only one position available. Is it safe if say I didn’t get it? I don’t want to chase them but wondering if I should give up hope hearing back; it’s been a month since I had the interview!

Sounds fairly standard for a large recruitment session, perhaps not for a single vacancies though however, theres no harm in making contact and requesting some feedback.

Chase them and ask. You should get an outcome regardless of whether you got it or not.

There are various headcount/recruitment freezes going on across CS at the moment so various vacancies are being frozen, it might be one of those, but you'll not know without asking them.

Have you checked your CS jobs online account? I have always had an email notification to say that it has been updated, but possibly any email has gone to your spam? If there is no result showing on there then I'd contact the vacancy holder for an update.

I’ve found out, it said I passed the interview but I’m on the reserve list….

There's a reasonable chance of getting an alternative role offered if you're on a reserve list - I would guess it depends on the role and how common it is. If it was a very niche and specific job then lower chances, but something fairly generic and you've got a chance of something similar coming up.
