School office role and prebooked annual leave

I've got an interview for a school office job term time only. I have applied for many others too so hopefully may get interviews for some of them

I don't currently work in education so have all my annual leave booked off for the next 12 months. We are going abroad the first week of the summer holidays but I believe in schools two days of this are inset days

Is this going to be a problem for me? Obviously I completely understand going forward that I can't book annual leave during term time but I am unable to change this now

I think you should say this at the interview.

Most places that have annual leave restrictions usually ask at interview if you have any booked and would most often honour these, but best thing to do is let them know at interview and ask them directly to avoid any confusion if you are successful

When you have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the interview that's when I would tell them about the holiday. Ask if they honour holidays already booked which are in term-time.
