Restructure and early pregnancy - when to disclose?

I am about 8 weeks pregnant and hesitant to share the news until I have to, as I had a miscarriage in January and am generally quite anxious.

The management team where I work (and which I'm part of) will be undergoing an external review in the next few weeks. There's a fair amount of overlap between my role and another, so I'm a bit worried about my security.

At what point should I be telling my manager I'm pregnant?

ASAP: it will give you some additional legal protection.

If you are saying that one of you may get chosen for redundancy as you do the same/very similar work then I would tell them straight away. If, you are in the same job and are pregnant and they remove 1 job they have to offer the remaining job to the person who is pregnant. I don't personally agree with it but that's how it is.

If your jobs are different or could be deemed to be different I wouldn't tell them as they might just choose your job to go if they know your situation.

If you do tell them do it by email so you have proof.
