NHS Accrued Annual Leave Maternity

UGH1 · 29/04/2024 09:46

I work for the nhs and have been on maternity leave and accrued a significant amount of annual leave during this time. My return date to work was 17th April but would be using my accrued annual leave to return on 5th June.

Unfortunately I haven't been paid as expected. Does anyone know why this might be?

I have emailed payroll but am not expecting a quick response.

Thanks!

What was wrong with your pay?

Sorry I should have been clearer - I haven't received anything at all! And there is no payslip on ESR at all!

Sound's like your manager hasn't told payroll that you came back to work on the 17th April ( because you are technically back in work)or if he/she did ,payroll cutoff date was missed

Did you notify payroll that you were returning? In my trust, the employee must contact them directly 4 weeks before returning.
