42 week contract in a school

I've seen a role advertised that I'd like to apply for. Can anyone advise how 42 weeks works? Would I work time time only and the extra is holiday pay? Or will I be required to work term time plus 3 weeks in the school holidays? I would need to work out the childcare costs if so. TIA

Yes, it will be TT + 3 weeks during the holidays. The days and hours worked will vary between schools & roles. I’d email them and ask.
