Civil Service - proposed interviews dates and rejection

Applied for a civil service job, with a time line of sifting a fortnight ago, and interviews this week.

Am I a reject based on proposed interview dates? Or have timeliness slipped, and I'm still in with a chance?

I guess I'm asking do they reject after the sift? Or wait until after appointment to reject everyone?

They will reject after sift. CS recruitment is notoriously awful, a delay just means it's slipped, paperwork is usually sent all at once so the successful ones hear the same time as unsuccessful, so it won't mean anything that you've not heard yet. That's my experience anyway, assuming it is a job on CSJ.
