Interview- urgent help needed

So i had an interview last Thursday for a job in my old industry (asbestos) I have a qualification in this. This was through a recruitment agency.

Anyway interview went really well and there seems to be lots of progression opportunity and opportunity to do further training which is what I want.

He said I could choose my hours as long its within the core hours and I he would be very flexible, he said some people do a 4 day week etc etc.

Anyway he did say toward the end that basically it was between me and another candidate and he had to have a think.

So the recruiter got in touch yesterday and said he is still making his decision as hes very torn between me and the other candidate.

My question is - should I email him to ask him if he needs anything further from me and to reiterate my interest in the role or could this harm my chances?

He seemed a very bubbly, chatty character so i am thinking he might appreciate it?

Any thoughts?

Tia

I’d do it!

If he seemed an outgoing person and you feel he would appreciate hiring an outgoing person; AND it’s something you naturally want to do (so it’s showing him your genuine personality) then absolutely you should send him the message.

Good luck!
