P45 - can it be sent via post?

Am I able to have my P45 sent to me via post? Long story short, I live next door but one to my ex employer and she’s previously suggested I pop in to collect pay slips. Haven’t gone to collect and if I can avoid it I absolutely will. Both she and her husband are horrendous liars and I cannot stand them. Can I request it’s sent via post? Thanks!

Will they though? You could be sat waiting for the post to arrive. And then how long do you wait? 3 days, 2 weeks, a month? And then what? Can some one else go in and pick it up ? You could then message and say something like ' x will come and pick up my p45 on date at time'. They may have treated you badly but it does seem rather odd that you are literally next door but one and can't go and get it. If they are are that fearsome then are you going to end up stuck at home because you darent walk past their premises?

I agree with poster saying send someone to get it rather than wait for them to post it, which may not happen.

Message them and say
"Does 4pm today suit to collect my P45?"
Then when they reply just say ok X will be in to pick it up.

How are you going to cope living 2 doors away if you can't face them?

Why not put a stamped addressed envelope through their door?
