How long after an interview before you reach out?

Hi all,

I had an interview a week ago. All went pretty positive. I forgot however to ask at the end how long it would be before I would hear back.

There are varying response online saying wait 1/2/3 weeks to chase it up. Is one week a bit too keen?

I've drafted up an email but just wondering if there's any recruiters on here that might be able to advise when the best time to reach out should be?

I don't think there's any harm sending an email asking when you can expect to hear, just apologise and say you forgot to ask at the time, ask that rather than asking for the outcome itself.

I've always moved on immediately. I get interviews easily so it's a numbers game

I would say a week on is fine to email
asking when you are likely to hear. Best of Luck.
