Free courses in England

Is the Free Courses in England website legit? I saw you get accredited certificate after completion of a course and that they are government funded. Has anyone else done one?

Looks like they are a middle man, so they put you in contact with course providers who claim funding for the courses from the govt.

They will make their money from a commission payment from the course provider and likely from selling data based on their privacy policy, they also have courses that are not free and are offered on an installments basis.

I don't think they're a scam but do think that they are probably unnecessary, you could find local providers of most courses yourself and go direct to the source, you will also likely end up with lots of upsell/marketing communications and if you're not careful with the options you select then your details will be sold widely and you'll be spammed by other companies trying to sell you stuff.
