Hi all - I would love to hear ideas on what are the best tools to use to develop the content for corporate social media posts ( I mean the nice looking visuals /short films that sort of thing ) as this I’d something I could really do with mastering! What simple tools are there for people with no particular design background to use ? There are so many I don’t know where to start or if I need a course or not . I’ve heard of canva - Is this a good start? Thanks very much !

In my last few marketing roles where I had responsibility for the business social feeds, Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn, I used Canva for creating the posts, slideshows, video clips etc. You have the ability on Canva to upload your branding - logos, colours etc - create templates - upload images which makes it all much easier. I was a novice, pre children social media wasn’t a thing, so self-taught when I entered the marketing world again post children 😊 I found Canva relatively intuitive and used Hootsuite for scheduling posts.

So long as you have a good ‘eye’ for design and have some idea of the content you want to create you will be surprised how quickly you will pick it up.
